Dedicated to male readers!!

I was wondering about men's collections for Spring - Summer 2011 and I think that Dolce & Gabbana's runway gave me a-more-than-satisfied sneak peek to men's trends for this summer...

Dark blue is the new black!
Great style...!Costume but not too formal ;)
Vintage sunglasses.... <3

Minimal style, yet masculine...

These printed T-shirts (that depict important American actors such as Marlon Brando, Steve McQueen, James Dean, etc) will be a smash hit... ;)

Leather, leather, leather..always in fashion ...

Earth colors! Grey + Brown = Perfect Match

Oxford shoes..They remind me the Old Hollywood ;)
Tuxedo that someone could easily wear to get married...WOW!!!
For sporty guys....

Rocky is back ;)

I know that it's too early for swimsuits but since the collection is for Spring - Summer 2011, D&G couldn't omit them...

Prepare your summer wardrobe inspired from D&G collection .... What is your favorite piece?

My review....

Yesterday as I left the movie theater I realised I just had one of the most exciting movie-experiences of my life! What was that for? ''The Tourist'' managed to leave me astoud. Not only the senario with the extremely breathtaking plot, but also Johnny Depp's and Angelina Jolie's performance was more than enough to keep me absolutely stucked on the big screen for 2 hours!

As far as the outfits are concerned, Angelina Jolie blew my mind wearing really sophisticated and glamorous-chic clothes. Look for yourself :

I don't forget (for sure!) my favorite Johnny Depp, who looked really handsome in his black and white tuxedo... <3

Movie moments:
Undoubtly, I recommend it to you!!

THE collection!!!

FAUSTO SARLI: one of the most creative stylist of our times and one of the most prestigous names of Rome's high fashion trade. Born in Naples, Sarli abandoned his course of business studies to dedicate himself to fashion. He gained experience and ability at such prestigious fashion houses as Schubert and De Luca before setting up his own atelier in Naples at the end of the 50's.

His collection for Fall Winter 2010-11 is absolutely gorgeous and I'm happy to share it with you because I'm sooo in love with it that I can't even choose my favorite piece!! <3

*The first part of the collection is based on the contrast between opaque and lustrous. Cachemire jackets and coats are covered with geometrical leather plaques having a metallic sheen.
Cocktail dresses have outstanding contours and with the use of “duchesse satin” they are transformed into ellipses, cones and circles.

*For evening wear the idea of cubism is transferred on a leather dress where intersecting lines with a “vertigo” effect brings to memory famous Picasso portraits. The same idea is found in a satin dress with lacquered plastic weaving which reminds us of Braque’s “still life”. Colours like deep red, brown, ochre, violet and the unfailing black and white are used to exalt the geometrical abstraction of the lines.

*The final presents a bride who appears to defy the world only with the power of beauty.

Happy New Year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear readers,
I wish you all the best for 2011 and hope all your dreams come true! My favorite poems and quotes are dedicated to you all...

Edith Lovejoy Pierce
We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called "Opportunity" and its first chapter is New Year's Day.

Aisha Elderwyn
Every new year people make resolutions to change aspects of themselves they believe are negative. A majority of people revert back to how they were before and feel like failures. This year I challenge you to a new resolution. I challenge you to just be yourself.

Edgar A. Guest
A happy New Year! Grant that I
May bring no tear to any eye
When this New Year in time shall end
Let it be said I've played the friend,
Have lived and loved and labored here,
And made of it a happy year.

Ann Landers
Let this coming year be better than all the others. Vow to do some of the things you've always wanted to do but couldn't find the time. Call up a forgotten friend. Drop an old grudge, and replace it with some pleasant memories. Vow not to make a promise you don't think you can keep. Walk tall, and smile more. You'll look ten years younger. Don't be afraid to say, 'I love you'. Say it again. They are the sweetest words in the world.

Ellen Goodman
We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives, not looking for flaws, but for potential.

Kersti Bergroth
It is difficult not to believe that the next year will be better than the old one! And this illusion is not wrong. Future is always good, no matter what happens. It will always give us what we need and what we want in secret. It will always bless us with right gifts. Thus in a deeper sense our belief in the New Year cannot deceive us.

P.S. A big thank you to my family and friends who support my dreams ...
THANK YOU AND LOVE YOU!!!
