Golden hour in Skopelos


Sunset is my favorite time of the day. Everything gains a sweet golden color and nature is at its best. Every single time I get to watch a beautiful sunset, it is a magical moment for me full of serenity, inspiration and thoughts. I had a unique moment like that in Skopelos when we visited the little church of "Agios Ioannis" which is located on the top of a rock, right next to the sea, at 100m altitude. The impressive rock is linked to the rest of the island through a narrow path with 110 steps. "Agios Ioannis" gained huge reputation after the movie "Mamma Mia" was released where many scenes from the wedding were filmed there. But enough said! I'll let the photos speak for themselves.
